These terms govern your use of the Scrub Prep mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Purpose of the App

Scrub Prep is an educational study tool for medical students on the surgery clerkship. It helps you prepare for cases, practice interactive questioning, and review high-yield material.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use Scrub Prep only for its intended educational purpose, to keep your account credentials secure, and to never enter real patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other identifying information into the app.

Subscriptions and Payments

Your first case preparation — including its Pimp Me and Rapid Fire sessions — is complimentary. Preparing additional cases requires an auto-renewing subscription, offered at $1.99/month or $2.99 every 3 months (both unlock identical access). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings.

Intellectual Property

The Scrub Prep app, its design, and its underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its content except as permitted by these terms.

AI-Generated Content

Case preparations, questions, and feedback are generated using an AI language model and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for independently verifying any content before relying on it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Scrub Prep is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any reliance on AI-generated content.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Scrub Prep if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
